Cirque Us

Cirque Us is a Boston-based contemporary American circus company that produces original full-length circus productions with a mission to spread circus magic through both performance and education.

This logo was commissioned for a new show concept, "Cirque Us Stories," themed around libraries and bedtime stories. The client suggested a general color palette but mentioned that it would be fun to include “easter eggs” referencing the company’s past shows within the graphic. Knowing that this show would tour school and public libraries, I drew inspiration from bookmarks, bookshelves, and children’s playroom toys.

The final design features a lamp, string lights, and a stuffed bear — referencing Cirque Us’ past shows One Man's Trash, Starstruck, and RagTag, respectively.
